Why pre-pregnancy embryo testing could be worthwhile

We offer both Pre-implantation Genetic Screening (PGS) to screen the embryo for general abnormalities in the number of chromosomes, as well as Pre-implantation Genetic Diagnosis (PGD), which is commonly used when a couple wants to diagnose or screen for a specific inherited disorder.

Abnormalities in chromosome number can lead to failed IVF cycles, miscarriages and/or birth defects. PGS substantially reduces the possibility of discovering a serious genetic abnormality during pregnancy, and having to face the consequent difficult decision of whether or not to carry the pregnancy to term.

If you are a woman with the following risk factors present, we suggest you consider PGS:
