Not your average fertility clinic, we offer you access to three specialists in reproductive medicine, one of whom pioneered fertility treatment in South Africa, but also to a homeopath, acupuncturist, genetic counsellor, embryologist, social worker, dietitians and a yoga fertility expert.

INFERTILITY ASSESSMENT

Infertility is defined as the inability to fall pregnant despite having frequent sex for at least a year for most couple.

OVULATION TRACKING & TIMED INTERCOURSE

Research has shown that by timing sex correctly, it’s possible to signaficantly boost your chances of conception, dramatically speeding up the time it takes to get pregnant.

OVULATION INDUCTION

Often the first option recommended for treating infertility, this method uses fertility drugs to boost the number of eggs a woman produces a cycle.

ARTIFICIAL INSEMINATION

Also known as intrauterine insemination, or IUI, this fertility treatment involves placing sperm directly into a woman’s uterus to effect fertilisation.

IN VITRO FERTILISATION - IVF, INCLUDING ICSI

IVF, or In Vitro Fertilisation, is a procedure used to overcome a range of fertility issues. It sees the eggs and the sperm joined together outside the body, in our specialised laboratory.

ALTERNATIVES TO CONVENTIONAL IVF

We offer alternatives to woman who aren’t keen on fertility drugs, whether for personal or medical reasons.

IVF WITH DONOR EGGS

This form of assisted conception sees eggs obtained from yound, healthy donors fertilised in our laboratory, then transferred into the recipient woman’s uterus.

IVF WITH DONOR SPERM

IVF with sperm donation involves using the sperm cells of a donor, rather than of a male partner, to fertilise a woman’s egg in our laboratory.

EGG, SPERM AND EMBRYO FREEZING

Woman who do not have a life partner, or are not yet ready to have a baby, may want to freeze their eggs (Fertility Preservation).

ASSISTED HATCHING

This method is believed to be particularly helpful for couples with a poor prognosis whose embryos are thought to lack sufficient energy to complate hacthing process.

SURROGACY

Surrogacy is when another woman, known as the surrogate, carries a baby to term on behalf of couples medically unable to do so themselves.

EMBRYO TESTING

We test for general chromosomal abnormalaties, and for specific inherited disorders.

TESTICULAR BIOPSY

This surgical procedure is performed, under anaesthetic in minor a theatre, in cases where men have no live sperm in their ejaculate, also known as azoospermia.

HIV & FERTILITY TREATMENTS

HIV is a serious but manageable chronic disease, and we work with couples where one or both are HIV-positive to ensure a healthy pregnancy, and an HIV-negative baby.
